The encysted eggs of an Enterobius get eaten by a human host, its travel to the small intestine where it hatches. It then mates with another worm in the large intestine, the female then it travels to the anus and at night lays eggs. Within four to six hours the larvae mature. They activate an itchy poison that creates the host to scratch, the host scratches through the first layer of skin to make to make larvae burrow deeper into the skin. They don't have any intermediate hosts. They live most of their life inside the human host. They create sore cysts in the posterior of the human host. You can take medicine in a pill form or you can get surgery.
